Apple выделяет Индию в отдельный регион продаж

Apple меняет структуру управления своим международным бизнесам, добавляя веса Индии. В Купертино видят эту страну крайне перспективной для себя не только в части продаж — а тут для Apple действительно непаханое поле — но и в части производства. Это позволит сильно снизить региональные издержки. Об этом пишет издание Bloomberg.

В частности, структурно Индия будет выделена в собственный регион продаж, за который будет отвечать Ашиш Чоудхари — местный руководитель Apple. Он будет отчитываться напрямую главному в Купертино по продажам. Ранее Индия входила в группу, объединяющую Индию, Ближний Восток и Африку.

На данный момент в Индии пока еще нет физических розничных точек Apple, но Apple уже несколько лет работает над открытием магазинов в Мумбаи и Дели. В январе Apple объявила о наборе сотрудников для этих магазинов, что позволяет предположить, что они могут открыться в ближайшем будущем.

Покупатели в Индии могут приобретать устройства Apple онлайн, так как с 2020 года в Индии работает интернет-магазин Apple.

Наконец, с прошлого года здесь производятся новейшие айфоны компании. В первую очередь, они будут насыщать местный рынок, где пока главенствуют «андроиды».
